style=\"text-align: justify;\">Development of a Common Information Exchange Platform (CIEP) to be operated by the respective NCCs of the two countries: Technical Specifications, Platform Development, Implementation and Testing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.police.gov.cy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Cyprus Police<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Main tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Procurement of one Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS): Technical Specifications, Tender procedure and contract, UAS Testing.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cooperation activities: Set up of communication channels, Cooperation meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kios.ucy.ac.cy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University of Cyprus (KIOS Research Center)<\/a> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Main tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">UCY along with IURC, will be responsible for developing appropriate software that will enable enhanced, state-of-the-art functionalities such as the implementation of intelligent path plans to be followed by the UAS in order to improve detection of illegal migration and criminal activities in the area of
